Amy Grant headlines Brevard Music Center's anniversary celebration

BREVARD — Six-time Grammy winner Amy Grant will headline Brevard Music Center's 80th Anniversary Spectacular on Saturday, June 25, at 7:30 p.m. at Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium, BMC announced.

Grant will make her BMC debut alongside Artistic Director Keith Lockhart and the Brevard Music Center Orchestra in the most elaborate, fully staged concert production ever seen on the WPA stage.

“This concert launches an exciting new decade in Brevard Music Center’s history,” said BMC President & CEO Mark Weinstein. “We are thrilled that Amy Grant will not only grace our WPA stage for the first time, but will also bring a truly ‘spectacular’ production to Brevard audiences in celebration of our acoustically-enhanced stage and 80th anniversary season."

A Nashville native, Grant has built a long, successful career on music that matters. Her recording catalog has peppered the musical landscape for decades with No. 1 hits such as “Baby, Baby,” “Every Heartbeat,” “That’s What Love is For,” “I Will Remember You,” “El Shaddai” and others that have become favorites among multiple generations. Grant became the first artist in Christian music to have a platinum record and went on to become a crossover sensation.
From now through March 14, tickets for BMC Presents: 80th Anniversary Spectacular featuring Keith Lockhart and guest artist Amy Grant are only available to BMC subscribers and donors ($50 and above level). On Tuesday, March 15, seating for this performance, and all others in BMC’s 80th Anniversary season, will be released for sale to the general public.
