City to mow weedy yards

The city of Hendersonville will mow overgrown property or clean up neglected property if the City Council approves the action.

Under the city code, the city notifies property owners of "a nuisance condition," often as the result of neighbors' complaints. If the property owners do not fix the problem after they receive notification by certified mail, the city does the work and charges the owner.
