Bank robbery suspect is caught in Oklahoma

The man suspected of robbing the TD Bank branch on Greenville Highway has been caught in Oklahoma.

Hendersonville police issued a warrant for the arrest of Jeffrey Timothy Devaughn, 40, of Hendersonville, for felony common law robbery. Devaughn was apprehended in Oklahoma. Extradition to North Carolina is pending.
Hendersonville police asked the public for help identifying the suspect who robbed the TD Bank branch at 535 Greenville Highway shortly after 3 p.m. Friday, July 12. A security camera made a clear image of a white male wearing a ‘Black Label Society’ T-shirt and camouflage hat. The man walked into the bank, handed the teller a note and left with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
