Dorothy Maggs, 95

Dorothy Maggs passed peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2014, at age 95 in Hendersonville.

Born in Indiana, Pa., Dorothy was the daughter of the late Charles and Lula Stewart and the wife of the late Earl Maggs who passed away in 1986.

Before moving to Henderson County in 1981, she had resided in Maui, Hawaii and in Hilton, N.Y., for 25 years. She was a member of the English Chapel United Methodist Church of Pisgah Forest.

Dorothy is survived by her three daughters, Sherry Maggs Taber of Hilton, N.Y., Diane Maggs of Etowah and Cindy Maggs Quy of Lansing; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

No service is scheduled.
