Newly opened Spinx touts its 'legendary fried chicken'

A new Spinx opened at the I-26 interchange on Asheville Highway and another is under construction on Upward Road.

A new Spinx gas station-convenience store on Asheville Highway is now open, the first of three the Greenville, S.C.-based company plans in Henderson County.

The Spinx Co., which has more than 90 locations across the Carolinas, celebrated the grand opening of the store at 6024 Asheville Highway with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday morning. A second Spinx is under construction on Upward Road; the company also bought a 4.7-acre parcel of land on Four Seasons Boulevard in the former Epic Theatre parking lot.
The company will celebrate the grand opening of the Fletcher store with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25. The ribbon cutting is open to the public.

“We are excited to continue expanding in Western North Carolina and bring the full Spinx experience to the Hendersonville community,” said Steve Spinks, CEO and president of company. “At Spinx, we are committed to providing exceptional customer service, quality food and a welcoming environment for all guests. This new location reflects our dedication to serving our communities with convenience and care.”
The Spinx location in Fletcher will serve its legendary fried chicken alongside a full menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. As always, Spinx Xtras members can save on fuel by shopping inside any Spinx store. For more information about Spinx and its services, visit www.spinx.co
