The 9th annual Oktoberfest at Southern Appalachian Brewing Co. on Saturday, Sept. 28, features music by the Mountain Top Polka Band, German food by Haus Heidelberg and Underground Baking Company, Volksmarch 5k to benefit Friends of Oklawaha at 11 a.m., costume contests, yodeling contest, Stein Hoist at 4 p.m., polka lessons and the 6th annual Dachshund Dog Races at 3 p.m. to benefit Blue Ridge Humane Society.   Read Story »
