City's elected leaders host Council Conversations

 Hendersonville City Council members are invitingresidents and community members to join them at a series of Council Conversation meetings in the coming weeks.

The informal gatherings allow the public to interact with their local elected officials by asking questions, voicing concerns, and working together toward solutions. Each meeting will last approximately one hour and will be hosted by an individual member of City Council. Various city staff members will also be available to answer questions and provide information on City services and programs. All meetings are at 6 p.m.

Council Conversations are scheduled for the following dates and locations:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 27, St. Paul’s Tabernacle Church, 813 6th Avenue West, hosted by council member Jerry Smith
  • Monday, Oct. 3, Ebenezer Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 2557 Chimney Rock Road, hosted by Mayor Barbara Volk.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 11, Guidon Brewing Co., 415 8th Avenue East, hosted by Mayor Pro Tem Lyndsey Simpson
  • Tuesday, Oct. 18, Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, 204 Kanuga Road, hosted by council member Debbie Roundtree
  • Tuesday, Oct. 25, Boys & Girls Club of Henderson County, 1304 Ashe Street, hosted by council member Jennifer Hensley.
