Apple Festival parade deadline a week away

The 66th North Carolina Apple Festival will again conclude this year with the King Apple Parade, sponsored by Hunter Subaru, on Labor Day. Applications to participate in the Parade are available on the Apple Festival website  www.ncapplefestival.org under the Events tab. The cutoff date for entries is Wednesday, Aug. 29.The parade has categories for commercial and non-profit entries. We also have professional floats available for lease again this year. Pool vandals ordered to serve 145 hours of service

Three juveniles charged in the May break-in and vandalism of Patton Pool have all entered guilty pleas in Juvenile Court, the city of Hendersonville said in a news release.
