Pardee expands neurology practice

Pardee UNC Health Care is expanding its neurological team with the addition of physicians Gwyneth McCawley, Michele Morgan and Duff Rardin joining Drs. Joel Callahan and David Fleuch at Pardee Neurology Associates, 835 Fleming St.


A board-certified neurologist with subspecialty training in the treatment of headache disorders, McCawley earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed her residency and a fellowship at Stanford University Hospital. McCawley uses evidence-based medicine to evaluate neurologic symptoms and believes in building a collaborative relationship with patients in order to create individualized treatment plans. When not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
A board-certified neurologist with special interest in headache management and provides diagnosis and treatment of all neurological conditions, Morgan earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, GA. Morgan strives to provide the best care possible during each visit with a thorough examination and discussion of all concerns. When not seeing patients, she enjoys trying new restaurants and spending time with family.
A board-certified neurologist with special interest in movement disorders, including tremor and Parkinson’s disease, Rardin earned his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the Medical College of Georgia. Rardin has been practicing in and around Asheville for more than 30 years and values the opportunity to diagnose and provide treatment of all neurological conditions. When not seeing patients, he enjoys playing tennis, reading and spending time with his family.
