SALUDA — Henderson County sheriff's deputies charged a 44-year-old Zirconia man with felony assault with deadly weapon inflicting serious injury after they responded to the scene of a stabbing on Thursday.
In a 911 call at 1:12 p.m. from a residence on Mountain Page Road in the Saluda community, a resident said there was a disturbance at the residence and that one person had been stabbed. When officers reached the scene they quickly located and apprehended a suspect who was walking in the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was in stable condition. Detectives with the sheriff’s major crimes unit charged Christopher Glenn Trumann with the stabbing. He was jailed on a $40,000 bond.
