Fifth Avenue remains closed for parking deck work
Fifth Avenue West between North Church Street and Wall Street remains closed as construction of the city's new parking deck continues.
An onsite crane was moved last week to Fifth Avenue to lift the final precast sections into place. The block is expected to reopen by Sept. 2. To sign up for street closure notifications as well as other city of Hendersonville click here.
Although the exterior structure of the deck will be completed this fall, interior work will continue before the deck opens in early 2023. In preparation for the deck’s opening, the public is encouraged to download the ParkMobile app. The app can currently be used in city-owned and privately-owned surface lots and will be available for use on metered Main Street and avenue spaces in 2023.
