School Board announces promotions

The Henderson County School Board on Monday approved promotions of principals and administrators during its regular meeting on Monday. The assignments were:

  • Bo Caldwell, current Senior Director for Human Resources to Assistant Superintendent for Administrative
  • Services to fill the position that was held by retiring Bill Parker.
  • John Bryant, current Principal at Glenn C. Marlow Elementary School to Senior Director for Human
  • Resources to fill the position that was vacated by Bo Caldwell.
  • Lynn Metcalf, current Principal at Clear Creek Elementary School to Director of Exceptional Children to
  • fill the position that was held by retiring Dr. Connie Brown.
  • Shannon Marlowe, current Principal at Hendersonville Elementary School to Director of Elementary
  • Education to fill the position that was held by retiring Rebecca Poplin.
  • John Hart, current Assistant Principal at Brevard High School to Principal at Glenn C. Marlow Elementary
  • School to fill the position that was vacated by John Bryant.
  • Marcie Wilson, current Principal at Apple Valley Middle School to Principal at Clear Creek Elementary
  • School to fill the position vacated by Lynn Metcalf.
  • Kerry Stewart, current Assistant Principal at Hendersonville High School to Principal at Hendersonville
  • Elementary School to fill the position vacated by Shannon Marlowe.
  • Scott Moore, current Assistant Principal at Hendersonville High School to Principal at Rugby Middle
  • School to fill the position that was held by retiring Principal Bill Reedy.
  • Jenny Moreno, current Principal at Hendersonville Middle School to Principal at Hillandale Elementary
  • School to fill the position that was held by Denise Montgomery, who has resigned to take a job in Buncombe
  • County.
  • Luke Manuel, current Assistant Principal at West Henderson High School to Principal at Hendersonville
  • Middle School to take the position that was held by Jenny Moreno.
  • Melanie Adams, current Assistant Principal at East Henderson High School to Principal at Apple Valley
  • Middle School to take the position that was held by Marcie Wilson.
