Greensboro man charged with soliciting 13-year-old

Hendersonville police detectives coordinating with Homeland Security agents arrested a 23-year-old Greensboro man they say traveled to Hendersonville with the intention of meeting a 13-year-old female for sex.

The detectives and federal agents arrested Kendall James Amaker without incident following the investigation. Amaker has been charged with solicitation of child by computer to commit an unlawful sex act and was jailed in the Henderson County Detention Center under a $8,000 secured bond.
