Jury convicts Fletcher man of statutory rape

In other cases:

  • Cele Hernandez-Leyva, of 171 Neely Drive, pleaded guilty to First Degree Burglary, three counts of larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen motor vehicle, flee/elude arrest with motor vehicle, second degree kidnapping, breaking and/or entering, larceny after breaking/entering, and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Hernandez-Leyva was sentenced to 106 months in prison.

  • Corey J. Mapp, of 107 Blanton Street, Asheville, pleaded guilty to robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of firearm by felon. Mapp was sentenced to 102 months in prison.
  • James K. Davidson Jr, of 474 Harris Street, Hendersonville, pleaded guilty to felony possession of cocaine, possession of firearm by felon, and habitual felon. Davidson was sentenced to 99 months in prison.
  • Javier Cervantes Jr, of 76 Raymond Street, pleaded guilty to robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony conspiracy. Cervantes was sentenced to 70 months in prison.
  • Bruce W. Glover, of 279 Poplar Drive, pleaded guilty to assault on law enforcement officer, simple possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of schedule i controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, maintain vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, and two counts of habitual felon. Glover was sentenced to 48 months in prison.
  • Jamie R. Hill, of 2020 Somerset Road, pleaded guilty to attempted breaking/entering to terrorize/injure and habitual felon. Hill was sentenced to 48 months in prison.
  • Lewis C. Landreth, of 1420 Big Creek Road, Belton, S.C., pleaded guilty to four counts of Breaking and/or Entering and three counts of Larceny after Breaking/Entering. Landreth was sentenced to 38 months in prison.
  • Hugh D. Hollifield, of 3 Lower Bucks Drive, Asheville, pleaded guilty to larceny of a firearm and possession of methamphetamine. Hollifield was sentenced to 19 months in prison and ordered to pay $3800 in restitution.
  • Xavier D. Raines, of 199 Chadbury Court, pleaded guilty to attempted possession of firearm by felon. Raines was sentenced to 19 months in prison.
  • Jesus Mancillas, of 102 Haven Road, was found guilty by a jury of breaking and entering. Mancillas was sentenced to 120 days confinement.
  • Walter Bracewell, of 101 N. Honeysuckle Lane, pleaded guilty to attempted possession of schedule II controlled substance. Bracewell was sentenced to 120 days confinement.
  • Malachi M. McDowell, of 3940 Columbia, Road, Orangeburg, S.C., pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit breaking/entering. McDowell was sentenced to 20 days confinement.
