Man charged with trafficking in meth and fake meth

Detectives with the Henderson County Drug Task Force, the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Henderson County sheriff's office crime suppression unit charged a Mill Spring man with multiple drug felonies after an undercover operation.

 

Travis Thomas Faulkner,  of 710 Mountain Range Road, was found in possession of two handguns and several bags of methamphetamine, along with a counterfeit substance that Faulkner attempted to represent as methamphetamine, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. He is charged with conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute a counterfeit controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle for the purposes of selling/delivering a controlled and two counts of substance possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

A convicted felon, Faulkner was jailed at the Henderson County detention center under a $88,000 bond.
