This pride and devotion to excellence was not lost with his wife, children, and grandchildren who are avidly involved with athletics to this day.
As the Superintendent of Demopolis City Schools, Dr. Hill took great pride in high school athletics and the goal of excellence. He never missed an event. He believed that students should be involved in youth activities, not just sports.
