Flat Rock Farmers Market moves to Pinecrest church

The Flat Rock Farmers Market opens Thursday at its new location, in the rear parking lot of Pinecrest Presbyterian Church, 1790 Greenville Highway.

Customers and vendors will enter from the Highland Lake Road entrance. Market hours are 3-6 p.m. Thursdays through October.
The Market features locally grown produce, fruits and meats that are seasonally available from area farmers using either organic, chemical-free, or sustainable agricultural practices. On opening day, customers can expect to find early spring greens and onions, asparagus, kale, lettuce, spinach, radishes, strawberries, mushrooms, eggs, jams, and seedling starts for their own gardens. The Flat Rock Farmers Market has been a community source for locally produced, farm-fresh food for the past fourteen years.
