Business leaders to hear about alcohol law changes

Hendersonville ABC board member Charlie Byrd will speak to business leaders Wednesday about changes in Henderson County's alcohol laws in the wake of numerous referendum questions that voters approved in May. Byrd is one of the three speakers who will address the monthly Business Morning Update on Wednesday, July 11, at the Chariot at 715 North Church Street in downtown Hendersonville. Coffee and networking will begin at 7:45 am. The program is sponsored by Morris Broadband. Other scheduled speakers are Norma Messer of the Better Business Bureau, who will speak on scams affecting our area; and Doug Shaw, president of Ohlins USA, who will give an industry update.   Read Story »
