County OKs 699-unit Tap Root development

Henderson County commissioners on Wednesday approved a rezoning change to permit 699 townhomes and single-family homes on 297 acres on Butler Bridge Road at the French Broad River, ending a long and contentious effort by the Tap Root dairy farm owners to develop the land for residential use.
