Car burglar sent to prison

A Charlotte man was sentenced to more than seven years in prison after pleading guilty to nine counts of breaking into motor vehicles, seven counts of misdemeanor larceny, obtaining property by false pretense, and financial card theft, District Attorney Greg Newman announced. Superior Court Judge Peter Knight sentenced Brown to 89 months in prison and ordered him to pay $13,547 in restitution.   Read Story »
