Six graduate from BRCC's law enforcement program

Blue Ridge Community College’s Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy hosted a pinning ceremony for its Fall 2021 graduates on Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Thomas Auditorium on the campus.

Graduates included were Savannah Elizabeth Blankenship, Joshua Nathaniel Flynn, Austin Jack Pittman, Cory Nathaniel Watkins, William Caleb Wycoff and Joseph Edward Zub.

The ceremony included a keynote by Charles Thomas Jordan, chief of the Brevard Police Department, presentation of class awards, remarks by class representative Joshua Nathaniel Flynn and awarding of certificates. Cory Watkins was the recipient of the Informal Leader Award as well as the Top Academic Award, both of which were presented by Law Enforcement Training Coordinator Dave Hensley.
