Hendersonville man facing drug charges held under $2.5 million bond

The home Henderson County Sheriff’s Department investigators searched on Stoney Mountain Road.

A Hendersonville man charged with multiple drug offenses was being held on Friday in the county’s jail under a $2.5 million secured bond, according to a press release from Henderson County Sheriff’s Department.


Sheriff’s investigators arrested Casey Jonas Martin, 56, of Hendersonville, on Thursday after a search warrant they executed at 453 Stoney Mountain Road uncovered 51.1 grams of suspected fentanyl; 29.0 grams of methadone; 3.04 grams of methamphetamine; 7.6 grams of hydrocodone; 11.6 grams of marijuana; three dosage units of Xanax; two 9mm handguns; and $3,898.65 of United States currency.
Martin and another person were located inside the home when investigators with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department Drug Task Force (HCDTF) & SWAT members served a search warrant issued following an investigation conducted by HCDTF for the sell and distribution of controlled substances by Martin, according to the press release.
Martin was charged with the following offenses: trafficking in opiates (Level 3) (2-counts); trafficking in opiates (Level 1); possession with intent to sell/distribute schedule 2 controlled substances (2-counts); maintaining a dwelling to sell/distribute a controlled substance; possession of a schedule 2 controlled substance; possession of a schedule 4 controlled substance; possession of a schedule 6 controlled substance; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (2-counts); possession of drug paraphernalia.
Martin remained in the Henderson County Detention Center Friday under a $2,259,600 secured bond.
Investigators also located and took 40-year-old Maria Hawkins Long into custody when they served the search warrant. Long was charged on active warrants for failure to appear for probation violation, misdemeanor larceny and driving while license revoked. Long’s bond was set at $7,000 secured.
