Bullington Gardens announces fall plant sale

The annual Fall Plant sale at the Bullington Gardens will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12-13.

The event is an opportunity for gardening enthusiasts and nature lovers to stock up on a wide variety of plants perfect for fall planting, according to the gardens.

Now in its 36th year, Bullington Gardens is well known for growing unique and exceptionally healthy plants. The sale features locally grown native plants, fall perennials, shrubs, trees and cool-season annuals—all carefully chosen to thrive in the local climate.

“Despite last year’s hurricane devastation, we are excited to offer a wonderfully diverse selection of locally grown plants to enhance any garden. Every sale directly supports our mission and helps us continue to offer valuable educational programs and maintain this beautiful space for everyone to enjoy,” Bullington Gardens Director Annie Higgins said. Bullington Gardens has been a cornerstone of the Hendersonville community for 36 years. With a focus on horticultural therapy and environmental education, it plays a vital role in connecting people with nature and promoting well-being through the power of plants.
