Mountain Home man charged with felony child abuse

Henderson County sheriff's deputies charged a 24-year-old Mountain Home man with felony child abuse after investigating a complaint and finding that his 4-year-old stepson had suffered bruises on his arms, face legs and back, the sheriff's office said.

Christopher David Blake Rogers, of Flintwood Lane, was charged on Tuesday after deputies and social workers investigated the report the night before. He was also charged with resisting arrest. Jailed under a $10,000 bond, Rogers was due in court for a first appearance at 9 a.m. today.
