Local man sentenced to 11 years in prison on firearms charges

A 33-year-old of Flat Rock man, Dillon James Surrett, was sentenced today to 11 years in prison followed by two years of supervised release for illegal firearm possession, Russ Ferguson, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina, announced.
