Sub-zero wind chills return this week

The Hendersonville area will plunge back into the deep freeze starting Tuesday night with a low around 8 degrees and windchill as low as minus-9, the National Weather Service said.

There is a 30 percent chance of snow before 2 p.m. Tuesday with little or no accumulation in the forecast. After a high Tuesday of 42, we won't see the 40s again until Saturday, forecasters say.
Highs will only reach 30 on Wednesday and under blustery conditions it could feel like minus-10. The high will reach 35 on Thursday and 28 on Friday. Lows will range from the single-digits overnight Tuesday to 17 Friday night.
