Schools closed Friday

Henderson County schools are closed for a second day because of Thursday's snow and other events were called off or postponed.

The Henderson County Planning Board canceled its meeting Thursday evening at which the board was scheduled to take up a rezoning request for a development at the Tap Root dairy property. The League of Women voters postponed its "All Things Voting" forum until next Thursday. The city of Hendersonville and Henderson County postponed their office opening time to 10 a.m.
